yes i did it on the train once....i know this sounds mean...but if you see someone fall over or trip...the reaction is to laugh, it's just a nerve thing...i saw this young guy fall down, the train was still at the platform..he landed on his butt, but it was the look on his face that did it, he jumped up and brushed himself off and walked away like nothing happened and i just burst out laughing, for most of my journey i was thinking about this guy and kept giggling to myself...the train was packed and people were staring at me (prolly thought i'd gone cuckoo)...eventually i had to go into the loo to contain myself, but i kept getting these little flashes of this guy falling...and there was no way of controlling my giggles...i am giggling now just thinking about it....laughter is contagious...thanks...lol....

Sure think it happens to all at some time. Thing is often it is not really that funny but the fact that everyoneelse is serious makes it harder not to laugh hysterically. Happened to me when I went to a school reunion. My best friend and I had a fit of the giggles....like being schoolgirls again I suppose. Got a few withering looks from the smug types and staff. But did manage to recover...I think.

yes,
My husband's step grandfather died and it was visitation at the funeral home. His grandma loves drama and stuff and almost dwells on it. If anyone new came in to the visitation, she'd take them and walk them up to the casket, wail loudly and walk them back, making a 'show' of it. When she went up with my father in law with his new girlfriend (loooong story there... ugh) she had one on one arm and the other person on the other arm. they walked up and she was being dramatic at the coffin again. She held onto the coffin, and I think she almost lost her balance or something. The family put some trinkets on the lid of the open casket, and one of them fell knocking grandpa in the face. I was extremely tired, had a newborn, just went back to work etc, and I had to hide my laughter and go into the other room. After the funeral two days later, there was a fight over who was going to be the last person to see him before the lid was closed on the casket. THAT was sad but it was something you'd see out of Jerry Springer, that's for sure.

confident i've got giggled at a funeral, even though it wasn't beside the point. My father in regulation, an surprising guy, kicked the bucket suddenly, in July. It replaced into the saddest 2nd of my married existence. He replaced into the 1st guy, that ever acted like a dad to me. I enjoyed him and leave out him dearly! the guy that did the eulogy replaced right into a preacher that had worked with my father in regulation. there have been particular issues that have been pronounced, strategies that surfaced, that compelled a grin on everyones face. We sat there, crying, and giggling for between the final adult adult males I ever knew.

Yes, I have, but what you are describing sounds like narcolepsy. If you sometimes fall asleep suddenly, you may be a narcoleptic. Get yourself checked out for this.
Then again, it could be a reaction to stress, or a perceived threat.
Sorry, I can't be more helpful, but you should get the narcolepsy thing checked out, to be on the safe side.

i was at home and all i had to do was catch the eye of my cousin sitting across from me to break out laughing and couldnt stop for a long time! i literally fell on the floor!!! my dad and mom were staring at us as if we were maniacs, when my cousin accidentally spit her water in his food!!!(we were having dinner) needless to say that we both had to leave the room for about 20 min to stop laughing and we couldnt look at each with a straight face for a week!!! i was at home so it wasnt that embarrassing..........
