what didn't Hitler do. A.H. completely nazified the education system it all focused upon Hitler and the party, the curriculums had to be approved by a nazi education board, the Hitler youth was made compulsory, it was military style camp for the youth and it could have been called indoctrination camps everything focused around Hitler and every youth was taught discipline, total obediance to the Hitler and the state.

"the whole education by national state must aim primarily not at the stuffing of mere knowledge, but at at building bodies which are physsically healthy to the core"-A.Hitler (mein kampf)

the system wanted young germans to be fit healthy and obediant nothing more, knowledge and intellect was not important.
from having the finest education system in europe germany soon had the worst regarding academic.
political and military training was considerd more important and youth obediance rose because low intellect, ignorance and indoctrination made the german youth very loyal to Hitler whom they were taught was the saviour of Germany.
Hitler realised that he needed germany's youth to continue his work so he got them young and moulded their minds.
I've read that a the parents of a young girl taught her not to listen to her nazi teachers (97% of teachers were nazi) the school found out and the girl was sent to live with another family while her parents until her parents became suitable.

Any head of a totalitarian state realizes that it's pretty well useless to convince every single adult in a nation, so they concentrate on the younger generation. Hitler did this through the Hitler Youth program, and by beginning the indoctrination of children as soon as they began school. At ten, it was expected that the boys and girls would become involved in the Hitler Youth.

For boys, this was not unlike a basic training situation, since the warrior was only slightly less idealized than the Aryan race--actually, the two were intertwined. If you were Aryan, so the party line went, then you would naturally be a warrior. Of course, there were plenty of opportunities to socialize as well--it wasn't all just military stuff all the time.

For girls, it was much homelier. A proper Aryan woman was expected to concern herself with having children--lots of them--and the home. I recall seeing a special on the Third Reich (it might have been on The History Channel) which had footage of a German newsreel from World War II in which several members of the Hitler Youth were being honored for service to the Fatherland. One of them was a girl who "singlehandedly saved six babies" in a maternity ward when the hospital was damaged during an Allied bombing raid. As you can easily see, the stereotypical sex roles were rigorously reinforced.

All teachers had to be nazi party members and all children had to be in the Hitler Youth. Books were changed to conform with the governments version of history. Any other books were banned.

Just look at Bush, and that is what hitler did. Come in when there is economic trouble, and then tell the people that they were in danger. He also told them, that he was rebuilding the countries army and bringing honour back after the way they were humiliated after WWI. Then he began to tell them that the Jews and other minorities were bad. He began to put unease in the German people, and they began to feel anger, hatred and fear against all Jews. Then, he misled them to a war, and when they realized what was going on, it was to late. Eg. Iraq.

Hitler once said it himself, the bigger the lie, the easier the people are fooled and tricked into believing what you want them to believe. Look at how Bush changed his attitude and what he would say after 9/11, and before that.

he told children that as the master race you must not smoke and stay healthy for how should the world judge them if they preach how they were the master race and people were dying of minor diseases. that and the strongest survive.
