Nadal can beat Federer on clay. Other than Nadal on that surface can anyone legitimately beat Federer? Or is he unbeatable?

Nadal is probably the only player who is able to repeat the winning performance against Federer. The two played against each other 5 times this year, Nadal won 4 maches, 3 of them were on clay:
1. Roland Garros (Clay) 1-6 6-1 6-4 7-6(4)
2. Masters Series Rome (Clay) 6-7(0) 7-6(5) 6-4 2-6 7-6(5)
3. Masters Series Monte Carlo (Clay) 6-2 6-7(2) 6-3 7-6(5)
4. Dubai (Hard) 2-6 6-4 6-4

Federer won once:
2006 Wimbledon (Grass) 6-0 7-6(5) 6-7(2) 6-3

In Head-to-Head Nadal leads Federer 2-6.

Federer is not unbeatable. No one can probably beat him on grass but Nadal is a legitimate nemesis not only on clay but also in hard courts he has beaten Federer in the finals of Dubai 6-4, 6-4. Plus Andy Murray also beat him 6-4, 7-5 in Cincinnati. Overall he has lost 5 times this season 4 times to Nadal(finals in Dubai, Monte Carlo, Rome and Roland Garros) and a single time against Murray(Cincinnati). I think he is very hard to beat because before even playing the players already fear him and probably Nadal is the only player brave enough to believe that he can beat Federer.

Nadal on clay, but no, he is not unbeatable.
Andy Murry beat him 6-4, 6-4 in a tournament prior to the US Open. Don't forget that Baghdatis is only 21 and coming on strong. Andy Roddick's game showed a major improvement at the US Open this year. If he keeps it up... who knows?

Nadal might be the only one on the circuit right now that could beat Federer consistently. Roddick has already shown that he crumbles under the Federer pressure, almost as well as Agassi did under Sampras, and Federer's domination has only recently been shaken by Nadal, as Nadal matures and improves in the circuit.

No one is unbeatable. Federer is obviously playing at a different level from others; but still he HAS been beaten. He is yet to have the best win-loss record among men in a year(its 83-4 by Ivan Lendl).

Roddick is going be tough this year.. hes improved tremendously with jimmy conners in a short period of time. So i think he has to be taken seriously. and of course.. Nadal. He games is improving on the other surfaces and hes young and only getting better.

He's not unbeatable. He didn't look entirely impressive at the US Open. Unfortunately, it seems like the game of tennis is missing other great players to oppose him. So if he's off his game, any number of guys can beat him. But if he's on his game, the answer is no one.

Roddick is going to be tough this year. His coach Jimmy Conners is a perfect match for him. I think he defiantly wins one major maybe two.
