Getting an MRI is a normal diagnosis step to take after doing a CT. The MRI will allow the doctor to look at the TMJ better. Dizziness is one of the first symptoms related to TMJ problems, because the mandible joint is right next to the ear. It sounds to me that you have a good doctor, and I am glad to hear that you have a splint. Wearing your splint faithfully for about a year will relieve the headaches and dizziness associated with the TMJ. TMJ problems occur in teenage or college age, usually due to stressful situations (like being a teenager and taking college exams). When you are stressed or tend to be an anxious person, you may grind your teeth at night or clinch your jaw when you are nervous. Don't worry about the MRI. Your doctor may just want to see if you need braces to correct your bite and jaw.

DOn't worry your CT was fine. I really don't believe you have cancer honey. You are going to a great hospital and they will get to the bottom of it. You will be just fine you will see. I will put you in my prayers and I would appreciate if you but me in yours as well. Good luck honey and don't worry put your faith in the Lord.
