I know it's not recent or anything, maybe something that came out around the same time as that movie, "The Good Son," cause I seem to remember seeing them around the same age. I only remember 2 things from it. I believe this scene was from the beginning. There was a man & he had a gun & there was a little boy & he was in his underwear & a t-shirt I believe. He had been sleeping I guess & maybe the guy was causing trouble in the home? So anyway, he took the boy with him & eventually they got him some pants. The boy had missed his chance to go treat or treating & the man went & knocked on a door the next day or well after & at first the man just ignored him but he convinced him to throw some goodies into the bag with his gun, some food & his watch, maybe some other things. The other thing I remember seems like it was towards the end. Something had happened & the boy threw the man's gun in a well perhaps? Sorry this is so vague but I thought I'd give this a try & see if anyone knows.
