I think you should split the bills 50/50...unless something is exclusively used by just one person, then that person should pay for it....ie..he should pay his car, insurance, credit card bills...and you take care of your own. But rent, utilities, phone...those I think you should split.

I don't think it's fair for you to have to pay half. My old lady pays three-quarters! That's what you should volunteer to do!! And quit complaining, get a second job!!

Hey, you know - it's an advantage of being married. Your into more of a 'partnership" so I guess it's expected that what's his is his and what's yours is yours - and bills are split evenly.....looks like it's time to get a 2nd job......or move to a cheaper place.

so you have to put out AND pay bills. Its time to lock up the kitty until Mr.$bags gets an attitude change. Offer to pay certain bills that u can afford, and let the bf pick up everything else.

You should pay half. What if you didn't live with your b/f and had a roommate...would you expect them to pay more?

He should let you pay the smaller ones and he should pay the others. Especially if you do the laundry, cleaning, cooking and keep him serviced.

If he truly loved you he'd automatically pay all the bills. With no questions asked.

No it isn't. Both of you live together, both of you should pitch in together.
