9. He or she won't accept cookies from you on your birthday, preferring instead to munch on a pretendwich (yay for negative calorie foods!)
10. When he or she feels under stress from the superintendint or principal he or she will walk as if on puppet strings.

You remember a time when there was no such thing as trick or treat because Halloween belonged in America, and we Brit had our own method of begging-it was called 'Penny for the Guy' and occurred in the lead up to Bonfire Night, a true English custom to accompany the true English Bonfire Night celebrations, which now, sadly, have disappeared due to the 'Elf and Safety' culture which is so prominent in our society today. Hmm now where did we learn THAT idea, I wonder????
