I am 5'2" with wide hips and have a butt...its hard to find jeans that go up my thighs but still short enough. Sometimes i find jeans that do go up but are loose around my knees and i hate that. Please help me find good jeans to try on.

The gap CAN have decent jeans at times. And they aren't old lady jean looking, either! I have had trouble with jeans before and I have had good luck finding cute jeans that fit nicely and don't ruin the bank. However, they are at least $40

American Eagle jeans would probably be good for your shape. You're probably thinking "AE? No, that's way too preppy." But I shop there for jeans, and I'm not even close to being preppy. They have different lengths, which is very convenient and all different fits and washes. They jeans are usually around $40, but can be as much as $60 if they're more distressed or "trendy" looking. Sometimes you can find them on sale or clearance there for $20-$30. Just give it a shot. But make sure you try on the jeans before you buy them, because all of them fit a little differently.

Are u wanting designer jeans? If so I would suggest Applebottoms, you could go to Lane Bryant(not saying you're plus size) and get the smallest size, you could also try Wal-mart. Go to the Mill's and try Deb's (if there's one in your area)

You can't laugh, but Old Navy jeans are amazing! They have different washes, cool embellishments, and cool looks for EVERY size! And they're at reasonable prices! I love Old Navy because they have great buys! Check it out! <3 =D

Gap is good but like 40.00 a pair. Gap often has good clearances on jeans too.

I would try Glo jeans they are made for people who have a little junk in there trunk.

I second the old navy. I know people built like you and swear by old navy and gap jeans.
