She didn't ask you over? Forgets about your birthday? That's a real kick in the teeth! Twice even! So you gave her fifty bucks huh? It's probably worth that much to be away from her. In fact consider that you got off cheap. Stay your distance from her and chalk it up to the cost of a lesson about life. And a lesson about her! If you continue to keep doing that kind of stuff for her then you are a fool and deservedly so. Let her stay broke.

I am not going to say you are a fool, but I will say that you should reconsider giving any more money to her when she ask.
My honest opinion is that she is not a true girlfriend to you, if that is what happened.
I would go elsewhere and try to find a different companionship.
I wish you the best of luck my friend, and do not let anyone else take advantage of your good heart.

sounds like she has a fool in you ... she knows she can get money from you she'll make sure you think she's broke and then go out with her friends ... i would seriously reconsider your relationship with her.
