Well I think it's pretty good Acer seems to always be behind the big guys.Yet thier product matches the competitors at a much better price.Plus they uaually give lots of freebies to sweeten the deal.My sister uses this equipmant and is more than satified with the outcomeShe reckons, she got lots of useful softwear for free A computer that lives up to and delivers as promised.Plus lots of cash in her pocket.Believe me when I am looking for my next P/C acer will be top priority

They don't come in pink anymore unless you want to get the old version (if you can even find one), which I don't recommend because the new one is better and you get 2 more inches of screen. The new model comes in red (which is what I have), blue, silverish/whitish color and black. I bought mine for $298. It's a good little computer for what it's meant to be used for. I bought it just to have a word processor and internet on the go since I already have a desktop. It also has plenty of room to store my photos and videos and run photoshop elements and windows movie maker (I do photography and video for my job). You couldn't put big programs on it but it's great for quick things in the field. It will definetly work fine for putting music on your iPod, but you will have to download iTunes (its free) because the Windows XP operating system doesn't come with it. For basic computer use I think it will work just fine for you. They also seem to be pretty tough - I dropped mine on a hard concrete floor the other day and it's just fine. The only problem I've had is that the wireless card is a little bit weaker than a full size notebook but it wouldn't be a problem using your home network or a wired connection. It also doesn't include a CD drive, but you can get an external one if it's a necessity.

i bet it's the one from Walmart. look, for that price you cannot expect too much, but it will do the job except for gaming.
