Brownish discharge?

I've been having some pregnancy symptoms.. I took a test, but it's too soon to tell anything yet. I was due for my period yesterday and I thought it was coming, I had cramps and everything but it never came. Now today I have a brownish discharge.. I notice it when I wipe. What does this mean? Could this be another early symptom of pregnancy?

I really dont think its blood.. its not on my underware at all.. it's only when I wipe. And it's definately a brown color, not red or pink. Although, it might be.. hmm...

I'd honestly say your having your period, I used to have that just before I came on. Then again, there is a chance you could be pregnant. Some people experience similar things when they're due on for there period (so they think). It happened to me. I had like a watery reddish colour which made me think I was just coming on my period, but then I found out, a few hours later, that I was pregnant. If you find out you are though, get checked out by a doctor because it might be something wrong. Its best to be safe then sorry.

it is blood mixed with regular discharge, it is called "spotting" this usually happens when a period is late and about to start. If by two weeks your period doesn't start, take a pregnancy test, but brownish discharge is most likely only a symptom of a late period.

the fact that it is brown means it most likely is dried blood.. heres why..

the uterine lining consists of a layer of dried blood and under that it is wet blood, the dried blood usually comes out first because it is on the outer layer. the egg comes through the fallopian tubes and enters the uterus fairly violently. the outer layer begins to peel off. the egg (about the size on a needle point) is wrapped in a small amount of dried blood and as it exits the cervix it is covered by the thin mucus plug (the body's defense against pregnancy)

what you are experiencing is probably a period that is starting slower than usual, which is normal, a small amount of blood is leaking out into the mucus, the mucus is trapping it and the blood is drying (hence the brownish color) then it is only coming off with toilet paper because the mucus is "sticky" and doesn't just drip into underwear.

i hope that doesn't gross you out but the body is a disgusting piece of work.

it should not be to early to test a hometest is 98% acccurate the day of a missed period it's most accurate with 1st morning pee. MANY women find out days before a period with new early results test like answer early and 1st responce early they are made to detect up to 5 days before a period is due "still most accuate the day of a missed period thou". If you should have started yesterday YOU NEED TO TEST. If it's - still no period call your doctor. Brown discharge can happen at any time it's not a good way to judge if your pregnant. Brown is just old blood it comes out often before a women starts her regular period i spotted brown for years when my cycle was due.

Are you going to the bathroom and checking a lot? It could be dried up blood from wiping too much.

Usually, but not always, before my period the discharge is brown. You're probably not pregnant, just starting your period.

It could be early symptoms of pregnancy, but you need to wait 2 weeks after intercourse to take another pregnancy test, for better results.

When i first got prego i had cramps..so maybe you are..i dont remember having that color discharge i had alot of white till the end..
