My great grandmother got pregnant before she started menstruating, so you could definitely be pregnant. You could also be due for your nest period. Act like you are pregnant, ie don't take any medications...Your pregnancy signs are also PMS signs. If you want to be sure go see a doctor. Did you not bleed at all for the year and a half? Not even a marbling to your discharge? Are you underweight? If you are underweight your period could dissappear. Also if you exercise to much it can disappear. If you lose your period due to stress it can make it a little more difficult to get pregnant. If you have menstruated and suddenly stopped for a year and a half, I would recommend you go see a doctor, either a gynocologist or an endocrinologist (hormone doctor). Good luck.

I would love to say you was, but I don't think you can get pregnant if you havent had your period in such a long time. You should go see your doctor and explain your situation, then they will offer a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease, but if your not, they can help you find out why you havent had a period for so long, and help you try to sort something out. I really hope you manage to get pregnant, and good luck! x

Is there a medical reason for you not having a period for a year and half. I would get that checked out with a gyno. It may be harder for you to become pregnant.
As for your symptoms, take a test, thats all i can say to help.

Go to a doctor and get birth control pills, that will help regulate your period. Take that for a while, then stop taking it to see if your period becomes regulated and comes on its own. Then start trying for a baby, at that time you might want to take ovulation tests. Good luck.

your not ovulating, you need to ovulate to have a period when you release an egg during ovulation, the egg last for about 48 hours then disloves into estrogen then you hormonal levels rise to bring on a preiod which for a 28 day cycle its around 2 weeks later. maybe the pill will get you back into a cycle.
look on the net under ovulation it tells you heaps of info

Firstly, you need to see your Dr to establish why you aren't having a period! It sounds like Poly Cystic Ovaries to me, in which case, you may not be ovulating at all (hence no period), however, you could start spontaneously ovulating at any time, and conceive, so it's worthwhile doing tests fortnightly. But, please go and see a Dr, you could go on trying indefinately for no reason if there's a problem!
