For me: a "jackass" is someone who knows better but does it anyway - "what a jackass"! - an "idiot" takes unnecessary risks with other peoples lives - "what an idiot" -the idiot usually escapes injury and the friend is injured - the response being - "only an idiot would do that".. hope this helps you understand a little better - but believe me - you will meet "both" for the rest of your life - STAY CLEAR -

To me an idiot is someone that does stupid things but doesn't know they're stupid. A jackass is someone who knows very well what they're doing, who they're doing it too and has no care as to how they hurt someone.

None that I know of. I haven't seen the movie, but it encourages young stupid kids to try these things........then again, they won't reproduce.
