how long is beauty school?

I'm thinking of going to the Aveda Institute and I just want to know how long it would take. It says 1500 hours on the website, but I don't know what the hell that means

Almost 10 months. The school clocks you by the hour that you attended for credit toward your major. If you go to shool 8 hours/day, 5days/week. I would take up to 10 months to grat. Good luck.
