i would not say english...because we can already speak it since we were 'taught' by our parents
i would also not say foreign language since it's very rare for Americans to migrate
math, no because we can just use calculators
i say science...you must know what's around you and how they operate, what's inside your body, etc.

Math and Language because no matter where you are in life, you will always need to know how to read, write and be able to at least do basic math. In a grocery store for example, you need to write a shooping list, read the names of certain foods or name brands to make sure you're getting the right thing and you need to add the average price of the stuff you bought so you can be sure that you bought the right thing.

I think Language because as you get older it is really important that you know the basics of language. Know the proper use of words when you are talking to someone and maybe spelling because you will have to know how to spell if you have to write something.

As well as math because if you can't count then, how will you know if you are getting paid the right amount on your paycheck. Then too, if you can't read then you can't read the paycheck.

none school doesn't help you out in the end when your on the road to a family and a house and kids and a career. they say school helps a lot but school just sucks. i know more people who have dropped out of school or quit or flunked that have better careers and families then the ones who do stay in school.
