Yes, of course it will stay like that and then some. It will also get the airconditioner imprinted on it as an indent and unless you keep your face stuck to the airconditioner people will laugh at you 'cause you will look like the funniest cartoon character ever.
To details: I thought you were tryingh to be funny, Sorry. If you wanted opinions about a myth, you should have asked for opinions. I've never heard of the myth just seen something similar on tv.
