Martha Stewart has a great one for really spooky punch bowl. You make "blood punch," then you put in ice shaped like hands and faces. It looks like there's somebody drowning in your punch bowl. You use surgical gloves and a plastic mask to make the ice hands and face.
Martha has tons of great Halloween ideas.

Buy a brain-shaped mold at a Halloween store and fill it with cheeseball, jello or another easily-molded food. They also make molds of human hearts, heads and hands.
