Not at all in the correct category but I offer this.
First of all those icons have absolutely no relation to any religious context.
Second,,, If you did some research, Santa, isn't strictly an original idea, created by Christians.
Without question those icons as well as others were noticed by those intuitive enough to profit.
Define "Cool"????????????
If suddenly there was no Santa, or even less valid, an Easter Bunny, how would that negatively impact society? GEE maybe we'd have to be satisfied with just celebrating those "HOLIDAYS" in the context meant to be?

To my knowledge, no, but remember: both of those are secular, or at least the Easter Bunny definitely is, and Santa seems to be a composite of a number of benevolent historical figures, some of whom have religious connections.

No, they are far more intelligent than that, instead of having a few days out of the year cut out to be special and different from the rest (like we do with Christmas and stuff) they believe that every day should be a blast.

ROFL!!!!!
i never thought of the concepts of santa and the easter bunny as 'cool'... especially when they are both devised to reward children through paranoia and deceit.
i certainly hope many cultures steer clear from such bad rituals and icons.

No they don't. They didn't have an avowed resurrection or a pagan culture to overcome without very much violence.
