Is it possible to read a persons mind, and get into his/her head by simply meditating deeply?

It has been known that a human only uses 10% of his brain capabilities, is there a capability that can enable communicating by thoughts? Is it possilbe to unlock it by concentrating and meditating very deeply?

Read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell... This will explain some situations in what you talk of. To some it up... It is a knowledge of people and/or things that allow you to make "snap decisions"... But as I said read the book.

Take note of Chris' answer. I tested with the deck of cards, a long time ago. I did better than 85% in the group and had more hits than probability would allow for. As he said, you don't concentrate. I saw the symbols as if on a kind of blackboard.
I don't think this is reading minds.
I like to think I am intuitive and I will pick up the gist of what someone is thinking, based upon what we are doing. Again, this is not it, either.
I also agree that whatever this sense is, it just comes. I am sure you can't get results using meditation; you are trying to free yourself of random thoughts and worries. Wayne Dyer calls meditation a "conscious contact with God." He may be reading you, but you can't hope to glimpse "that" mind.

can I read someones mind.
sometimes .. not reliably.

I am getting better at knowing if someone is behind a door. Don't know if I am micro hearing them or it is KI. Training says it is Ki.

Ki/Chi/Magnetism breathing/meditation is key here, not just meditation. Also Zen meditation of living mindfully.

You want to get in touch with your energy, their energy, the universe's energy.

Being in a sanga helps.
that sanga loosely defined as some Sufi movement or sufi order groups, some Ki aikido or aikido groups .. some qi gong / tai chi groups.

After 6 months to a year of practice .. you may get some result .. or just continue it for its own good practice.

Wendy palmer's aikido as a clarisentient practice is a interesting start that comes to mind.

There are many other groups and studies.

Yes it is possible, but you can not do it just by meditating. Meditation calms the mind. In fact, you need for your mind to be very alert and focused, not relaxed. To practice, have a partner help you. Have him or her think of a simple series (like one of three possible colors, red, blue or green). Tell him/her to think of that color and ask them to visualize it (imagine a forest for green, the ocean for blue, etc). As they hold that image in their mind (a tangible image is easier to hold than an abstract idea) you focus your own mental energy on them. Try to "see" what they are seeing. Then make your color choice. Do this no more than 10 times in a row. Keep track of right and wrong answers. If you actually "see" the image yourself, give yourself 10 points instead of just one for a correct answer. Do not guess. Focus. In the beginning, your scores may be very low. Don't be discouraged. You are working parts of your brain that are flabby. In time, you will move up in number of correct responses. In effect, you will be learning to read a person's mind.

Good news: a goodly part of ESP is not blocking your first impulses. ESP is completely first impulse stuff. You get impressions and those are the gift. If you alter or change any of those first impressions it is called "colouring," and voids the whole thing. When I experience clairvoyance, it comes to me as a mental picture all at once in a kind of flash like one frame on a big movie screen. I am left to freely describe as much of what I "saw" for whomever it happens to be. Many people either do not believe in this gift in people or doubt it or feel it is not a good thing. I have seen to many instances of it working to benefit others to doubt it. However, other than for your question, I seldom bring it up or mention it, because in most social settings it simply is not appropriate behaviour. It is just not cool to point to it.

1. The MIND is not the brain. The brain is physical, and the MIND is a vibrational body of subtle energy simultaneously existing within the same space as that of the physical body.

2. MINDs do communicate to one another via what I refer to as DEc, or Direct Esoteric communication, where what is active within one MIND will automatically stimulate the same vibrational resonance within a MIND close at hand. What is being stimulated within ones MIND [if it is not repressed within the other's MIND as memory trauma] can be experienced by the Awar Aspect of ones Apapsyche if ones Attn Aspect of Apapsyche is focused within ones MIND realm. This is called empathic communication by those who believe in it [normally only those who experience it].

3. Meditation does help to open one to ones MIND realm, and if practiced for an extensive time [many years] it can open one to ones Apapsyche [Operational Energy of ones Soul] as well.

4. A competent Gestalt therapist [perhaps 5% of those practicing] should use DEc routinely to help facilitate clients to those areas of client's MINDs that need to be discovered to effect therapeutic catharsis.

You probably can read someone's mind - but can you trust your interpretation? And I doubt that a deeply internalised process like meditation can achieve this. If such a thing is possible, it's more likely to be an external focus technique.

No one can read another person's mind. Someone might make a good guess as to what you're thinking by carefully observing your behaviors, your body language and your words but mind reading happens only in the movies.

However, someone very close to you can easily pretend to read your mind because they already know your feelings and thoughts to some extent.

Sorry, but no. Not any more than you can see through a wall by sitting in front of it and meditating. This is probably a Good Thing, overall, if you think about it.

Yes, I believe it is possible to do that. We don't use much of our brain at all. If we meditate daily and train ourselves right we can live a much fuller and more interesting life on a different level. If you figure out how to do it, please le me know. I do believe in it though.
