I worked for a Variety Club Haunted House years ago and it was wicked scary. I worked behind a nylon wall and would grab people through the wall. This one kid got so worked up he tried punching me in the face through the wall and he had to be thrown out. We also had a guy running through the haunted house with a working chain saw, the chains had been taken off but it's still frightening to be chased through a dark maze by someone with a working chain saw. They freak me out if they are hard core, but some are meant for kids - and are much more lame.

i think the scariest thing about a haunted house would be if i found a real body in it. other than that, the prices.

the last haunted house I went through had a guy dressed sort of like leatherface (this was before the original texas chainsaw mass came out though)he was behind a black curtain with the saw running (chain removed of course)and jumped out at us. that was pretty scary.

I went through one that was pitch black and had absolute silence, it was unerving. Then when the lights came on it scared me to see what was actually in the room.
