can u please explain how/why global warming can lead to more powerful hurricanes? thx!

Hurricanes are created (and fueled) when warm air and cold air collide.. Like a tornado. . If the warm air is a little warmer.. There will be more of them and more violent.

Also, global warming will create warmer waters around the globe which result in warmer air temperatures above the water, which result in...........more violent hurricanes!
