I know what your going through, its perfectly normal. I have a son and when I was pregnant with him, every time I got a pap or some other exam, I spotted. My son was born as healthy as could be. Although, if it is alot of blood other than just a couple of spots, go to your doctor immediately. Hope this helped you.

I don't know about the PAP smear, but honest Abe, I was 5 mo. pregnant with my son before I knew I was pregnant. Had afternoon sickness with all 3 of my children. I already had a daughter so it's not like I was stupid or anything, I spotted each month for 5 months just enough for me to think I was having periods. I had always been very irregular ever since I started so I just thought it was a new kind of period I was going thru. I have also heard of women that spotted enough to be considered periods the whole time they were pregnant. But if you are concerned, I would check with my OB/GYN to ease my mind and be sure there is nothing else going on! Congrats!

It is completely normal to spot after any vaginal exam. I had three children in three years and have had more than a few exams. I bled with my two sons during pregnancy to the point of rushing to the OBGYN for an ultrasound to make sure I wasn't having a miscarriage. Thank God all three pregnancies went okay and I know have three wonderful children. If it's spotting your okay and if it's more further down the line, don't jump to conclusions! All usually ends well. Good Luck and Congrats.

Yes, it's okay, but don't let it continue. If you have any fears at all contact your doctor and let him/her talk to you about your fears.
