He says numbers are his friends. He has an emotional connection to numbers.
Not sure what I would give. The ability to spell? Be a dyslexic. It seems like such an awesome gift that nothing else seems to match it.

Yes, a very unique and impressive skill, but one paid for dearly I think. It would seem he exists in a mental dimension quite different and separate from the rest of us. Fortunately he is still able to communicate and be social but still such a vast, vast distance separating him from others of the species. I wonder if he might not feel more comfortable among dolphins than humans. No, I think the price too great to pay. I wouldn't be a convert until the whole species went that way.

I can't be bothered to read the link but since the buzzes are on strike, you're stuck with an answer which pretty much serves you right for being so fkn rude.
You said it yourself: it is a gift. You do not GIVE anything to receive a gift, by definition. I don't have to read the link to realise that your question, logically, is a heap of horseshit.
Now do you feel an idiot if I tell you to be a good boy or girl and treat people with respect.
I looked up your 360: This is your blast:
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. If children live with acceptance and frienship, they learn to find love in the world.
You hypocritical pillock.
EDIT:
"It takes one to know one"! Dear Lord, how DO you think these gems up?
One thing, though, you have supported your blast comment: in being criticised, you have condemned, but you have proved that that pathetic reaction is not confined to children.
Apologise to those you have insulted. That is the adult thing to do.

To some people, logic occurs effortlessly... it is just being intense from within, coupled with utmost relaxed mind, that makes it look efforless to play with numbers.... yes, though a bit rare.... some are lucky ( their mind get shaped, right through childhood) to use logic with the least possible prejudice !
Since thoughts too are physical (though a bit subtle), it is the closeness, the affinity, that causes the feel of numbers... you can feel a person you love deeply, even when far away from... !

Synaesthesia is a true gift, but very misunderstood. Other people see words as colours - the arstist Vassily Kandisnsky saw the world completely differently from us 'normal' people and his paintings reflect this. I'd love to have his gift but I'm not so sure about the number thing!

Feeling numbers would be nothing compared to the ability to comprehend instantaneously the theory behind the numbers as they relate to a situation.

Blind people learn Braille which enables them to feel numbers. I do not wish to loose my eyesight in order to feel numbers. You might explain feeling also by just knowing the answer. "I feel the answer>"
