i have been on the pc and phone all day with tech help trying to get it reinstalled,all thay do is pass you around and the dumb bastards are dumber then me,i know some of you have had this problem,i don't know if you got it fixed,but i will tell you i will get it fixed or thay can kiss my *** good by,does anybody know a better IP. this sucks

Yes, I encountered that same vile problem years ago. You should call SBC and have someone come in for free to do it. tell them that you had to waste an entire day yada-ing on the phone with someone called Mary or John from India with no results but a bad headache. Good luck!

Why are you trying to install the sbc yahoo browser? It's totally unnecessary for you to connect to the internet with. I found the parental controls option to suck up a lot of cpu, so I uninstalled it. If you insist on putting it in, check the ATT forum on dslreports.com. They have a bunch of FAQS on how and how not to install the sbc yahoo junk.
Also, you're talking to Level 1 support, which 99% of the time is overseas.

Just go with Firefox instead of IE or the SBC/Yahoo branded browser.
Firefox is much safer, faster and easier to use. More features, too.
