No. Think of it this way. America has a better government, not perfect, but much more organized than Mexico. The conditions here are better so a lot of people want to live here.
Mexico on the other hand has a variety of vacation spots, goods cheaper or not common in the US(Vanilla, "supplements", puppies, etc...) so Americans, with their high paying jobs, are tourists. They benefit the Mexican Economy by bringing in money.
America is more self sufficient so we can survive without additional labor.
Mexico wants American Tourists but Americans don't want more illegals.

Because the Mexicans have desire to live in our country illegally. Generally no Americans have a desire to illegally live in Mexico. However i do agree with you. Americans should have to show passports! You never know. The person could be a fugitive and be let into Mexico to escape. I agree with you.

When will people realize and understand that the "Borders of Mexico" have not been closed, and will not be?
There are many, many crossing points all along the border, from Texas to California.
Any one can cross into Mexico or into the US, with proper identification at the legal crossings.
Let me say that again.
Any one can cross into Mexico or into the US, with proper identification at the legal crossings.
What is so difficult to understand about that?
No North American can travel into the interior of Mexico, beyond 12 miles, without proper papers.
There are armed military guards on every highway, at that point.

Mexicans (or any nationality) who cross into America with the purpose of staying there and working and living forever - do so illegally unless they get their green card.
Perhaps the laws of Mexico on this matter (ie you and I crossing into Mexico for the same reason) aren't as stringent or are non-existant.

Americans do need a passport to get into Mexico! It's foreign travel. I had to have a passport to go to Guam. And it's a territory of the United States and protected by the United States Constitution! But being in foreign waters my passport is to protect ME.
Mexicans are foreigners, like any non-American citizen, thus require passports/work visa's to be in this country as we do in theirs. It ISN"T illegal for them to come to the United States.

Nope. illegal imagrants, most are from Mexico, take up most of the unskilled job positions in America. They cost the government over 68 thousand dollars anually because they expect to be taken care of when sick and in the hospital. So, it should stay illegal for them to cross he border because America is forced to pay such a price on those people therefore it's not wrong!

Hey thats exactly what i have been thinking during the past days. Its NOT fair for "americans" to be going and staying in Mexico while mexicans come here illegaly and they want ot kick them out! I think that americans should be considered illegal if they dont have mexican papers and are takin "fun" trips over there.

You have had to have a passport to go into Mexico since February of this year.
The Mexican government allowed Americans to travel into Mexico without passports because they wanted the tourism money. You can put away your tin foil hat liberal conspiracy theory for the day, this one does not work even in crazyworld

No, because illegal Mexicans harm the US, while Americans help Mexico by bringing money.
But Americans will soon need passports to leave the US no matter what.

Yes, it is wrong. It should be just as illegal for Americans to go to Mexico without validating their citizenship or visitor status, but as someone mentioned, the Mexican government obviously doesn't care. They don't care for the same reason a gang member is welcome in a pool hall, strip club or crackhouse but turned away at a jewellery store or country club. You won't find too many pro golfers hanging out in the ghetto. Yes, the world is screwed up.
