i saw some questions on here that ask if boston is racist
im black and like the red sox, but then again liek the mets more
is there something wrong with me likin the red sox
and liking the mets (i dont think mets)
only reason i like the red sox is cuz of manny, and i hate the yankees
so is it wrong im black and like the red sox????

Just because there may be racist people in a town doesn't mean you can't root for the baseball team. There is racism in every city no matter where you are. But I don't see any pro teams that are exclusively white or only hispanic or only black. Owners only care about winning so they get the best players to do so. Root for who you want. But if it's the Red Sox I've only got one thing to say to you "Maybe there was no curse, maybe the Red Sox just sucked for 86 years!"

Nothing is wrong about you liking the Red Sox. Come to Boston here and walk around with your shirt and hat and fit right in. You can even pronounce your "R"s.
Doesn't matter what color you are, everyone will support you as long as you 1) love the Sox 2) hate the Yankees.

Race should not be an issue when choosing your favorite team. I know many people of different races that like Boston.
Boston often gets the rap of being racists because they were the last team to have an african american player. This was not until the 60's.

im white and ilove the redsox born and raised into loving boston...I don't know what you mean in being racist im just confused. I haven't been keeping up with news everysince I have had a daughter and all stays on tv is nickelodean but hey if im missing out on somthing imma find out

Nah, yet the two those communities have each and every of the damn funds and that's humorous that the pink sox have spent plenty funds and suck. And the jets can no longer get previous the afc championship. yet no no longer something incorrect
