No I used to be till somebody told me not to look at the needle when getting an injection or a blood test, and strangely enough it was way less painful. When I used to see the needle I used to cry and scream so loud you could hear me from outside the hospital. I'd say more than half the pain comes from the brain's anticipation of it. If you're talking about sewing needles, I used to do something really strange with them. As a kid, I used to pass them through the uppermost layer of my skin where the skin is dead and just let them hang with a thread. What can I say kids are strange.

I'm not afraid of needles but I wouldn't say that I was a big fan of them either. My view of them would if their needed at the time say in medical terms then so be it otherwise stick to the sewing hey!!

At one time I drew blood, legally with needles. I love drawing someone's blood, feeling their veins, trying to pinpoint the right spot. And the people who come in and say "OH, I'm hard to stick" - love those even more. Needles, I laugh at needles!

It's not the needles so much as it is the pain of it piercing my skin. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.

Yes!!!!! Dragon hates getting shots!!!!!!! Dragon would rather die than get poked by needles. Dragon had tetanus shot this year and almost passed out from being so anxious about it.

No. I grew up with a diabetic grandmother, who uses needles all the time to test her bloods and my little sister and myself were never bothered by it. Just doesn't bother me at all.
