I don't have herpes, I don't know where I would have gotten it because I have not kissed anyone, shared drinks or come into contact with someone with the virus. The sores go away when I do vitamins, but if I forget them for even a day, they come back. The sores are in the corner of my mouth and crack if I open them too wide. I use lip balm to ease some of the dryness and pain, but I wish I could find something that would make them go away faster and stay away longer than the vitamins do...any suggestions?

Once again--there is no way this could be an STD or virus. I don't share drinks or food and I don't have close contact with many people. This is some kind of vitamin deficiency, but I'm not sure which.

Carmex is a medicated lip balm - It will give you a stingy type feeling but it worked for me

It could be that the edge of your lips are to moist, try not to lick them and dry them off constantly, It could also be a cold sore which is a virus, which you have said many time that it can't be but it might be i don't know how cold sores are spread.
It could also be eczema (aka really dry skin) and you can either get a special lotion from a doctor or over the counter.

i'm afraid that is probably herpes you can get it all kinds of ways. you could have gotten it as a very small child from your parents kissing you but never showed a sign until now. they may just be stress bumps if you life is going completely nuts then they can cause such problems just like some zits are from stress. best bet is to have it checked by a doctor, or if not herpes in the mouth normally goes away after a short time and stress bumps do the same.

you're right it can be a vitamin B missing from your diet
also is related to yeast infections
try putting some antibiotic ointment in the corners of your mouth
they easily become infected and the ointment will clear it right up
make sure to keep your lips moistened with a good lip balm
i recommend vitamin E lip balm....tried and true

Carmex is great for this. Also make sure you are getting enough water everyday. You might also want to be sure you are taking Vitamin E as well as what are called essential fatty acids. These will help nourish your skin and keep you hydrated.
Good luck!

Sounds like angular cheilitis....vitamin B12 helps with this if you are B12 deficient. It's also caused by yeast, so make sure that's not what it is. I'd recommend going to the doctor to see what exactly is causing it so it can be properly treated.

It is a vitamin A deficiency but before you load up on it you must know that too much vitamin A can KILL YOU. Carmex will help. I suggest taking in food that contains vitamin A as opposed to taking the pills.

I'm thinking a B vitamin deficiency may be causing your problem. Keep taking the multivitamin...and eat pork...it's high in some B vitamins!
