The Detroit Tigers should have little problem winning the World Series. Kenny Rogers, Nate Robertson, Justin Verlander and Jeremy Bonderman have been lights out in the playoffs, save one bad performance by Robertson in the opening game of the ALDS against the Yankees. The Tigers have also now won 7 games in a row. Also, 12 of the last 13 winning World Series teams were the team that had more days of rest between the LCS and the World Series. Since the Tigers swept the A's and will have a week to prepare and focus on their next opponent and the National League participant may have less than a day, the Tigers should win.

I hate to say it and I dont want to but I think the tigers will win it. They have extremely better starting pitching and a great bullpen. Whoever comes out fo the NLCS will be extremely drained. The Tigers will be rested and riding high after beating the yankees and sweeping the A's. Both extremely good teams. I hope the Mets somehow have some luck and a few breaks or just scores 12 runs a game but i cant see the tigers losing with that pitching.
