The funniest thing I remember from when I was real little is my kid brother repeatedly getting stuck in a tree because our pet goats wouldn't let him down. He would scream like mad for help and I be laughing so hard that I'd almost fall over. I'd usually let him scream for a while, because I was a crummy sibling. Still, to this day I can think of it and smile.

My saddest and worst memory is when my golden retriever was put to sleep because her kidneys shut down and we didn't want her to suffer. It's been four years but I will never forget sitting in that vet's exam room knowing any second would be her last. We had grown up together and letting her go was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life.

The best memory? The first one that pops up into my head is the birth of my son, My husband made it the day before. I was 2 weeks late, and I knew that I wasn't going to have this baby
without my husband! I was detirmined! And sure enough he was there< Three days of hopping internatial flights from Iraq, and he made it just in time! Oh we were soo blessed!

Funniest and saddest combined- When I was about 7, and my brother 9. He stole a cigarette from my dad, and suggested we go behind the tall curtains to smoke it.
Well, guess who saw the 4 tiny feet and smoke coming from the curtains...and which 2 kids got the baddest whacking of the century?!?

wow.... this question just made me realize... I have a bad memory
Ok, I got one. When I was about 5 I found a piece of that fuzzy stuff that lines windows.. ya know? And I thought it looked like a fuzzy little catapiller. And I kept it for my pet... and called it slinky. And one day when I came home from my G-ma's house it was gone... I don't know if that was funny or sad, I was a lonely kid

My dad told us that when he was a little boy, that he was trying to train his dog not to eat ,he said that each day, he just fed him a little less than the day before, but then the dog died. I felt so sorry for my Dad, working so hard to train that unappreciative dog. I was practically grown before I realized what my Dad was saying, and that he was just joking.

My parents tell me when I was little we lived in Indiana on a farm and I wondered to the cows and got stuck in a pile of cow poop. I was just standing there crying and the cows were looking at me, probably mortified. lol
