It's not a command prompt window. The name on the title bar is Common. It's a window that appears and it's empty.

Are you talking about a command prompt window? A black one that appears for a moment, then disappears? If so, you may be talking about a logon script that is running whenever you log on. That's pretty common in domain environments, such as at work, and no way for you to stop it.
More details on the window would give a better answer.

easy. click start, then run. then type 'msconfig' press enter, when the window appears use the last tab adn look for the thing that keeps appearing. dont change anythign you dont know what it is. then click ok and it will ask you to restart.

That happens on my computer. Do you have Firefox? Mine didn't start to do that until after I downloaded Firefox.
