Why does iTunes do this??

When I am on the computer listening to my music on iTunes, when one song is almost over, the next song begins before the last one is over. Does this happen to you? Why does this happen to me? How can I stop this?

go to the edit tab then to preferences then click on playback and you can take off crossfade

It could be because you have two media readers trying to read the same type of file. Conflicting media readers causes the song not to play all the way.
