abstinence is not 'birth control' it just means that you are not having sex so i don't know why people are putting this as an answer, but the answer is none, there is no birth control that is 100% effective. The best thing to do is use more than one method, like a girl can be on the pill and also use condoms or diaphragms

Take it from someone who has gotten pregnant twice on birth control pills- there is only 2 ways for 100% effective birth control:
1) abstinence
2) tubes cut and cauterized
