The closest place to Margate that hires snowmachines is probably GrassHoppers Bouncy Castle Hire. Don't let the name put you off - the deffo do snowmachines.

They can be a little tricky to find. If you want actual snow, try calling the nearest ski resort. They're off season and might be happy for the rental. If you'd like fake snow, call your nearest theatre, tell them what your doing, and see if they have anyone local- at a theatre you'll likely need to speak with the technical director (at least that's what we call the position in the U.S., I'm not sure what the job title would translate to in british). ;)
