i'm wondering what other people think is a best friend. Can people have many best friends? because I don't know which friend of mine is my best friend.

yea u can have tons of best friends i do-- a best friend is a person you can trust, someone you can tell your secrets to and they can keep it a secret-- someone to cheer u up when ur sad and someone thats always there for u

Based on my definition of friend, no I have no friends. I have aquaintances, see people at work, and hang out at a local restaurant. But if I need something, like a test at a hsp. I am on my own. I have finally given up on friends. I think that maybe the reason I have none is because they are so family oriented in this town. If you don't have family you are up @@#$$ CRICK. People I find are very inconsiderate here, and that is why I intend to eventually leave this F@##$#@ town, cause I hate it here and I am tired of their family get togethers. That is why I spend so damn much time on this f@#$#@ computer. Thanks world for letting me vent.

A BEST FRIEND is someone u can count on, trust and that person feels the same from u. This person does not always have to be at your side, u can have many best friends but the one person or persons that u can count on no matter what is your best friend. Sometimes we can't tell who is our best friend but there is always one person that stands out and is there for u not matter what when and how. Pay attention to who u have around u, that person will always be there.....

someone that loves you no matter what
someone that doesn't use you for anything
just a friend that never lets you down when you really need them,and want to be with you.
this can also mean your husband,my best friend is my new husband, he loves me and is there for me when I'm sick and in good health
he cares for me and about me,GOD is also your best friend when no other man or women can be one.
your dog or cat can be your best friend when man wont be.

for me a best friend is someone you can tell your secrets to and they wont be shared. someone who will listen without judging, someone who will be honest when you ask for an opinion, not tell you what you want to hear. someone who will agree to disagree with you and it is ok, they like you and respect you for who you are. I have had my best friend for 25 years. God bless
