I'm a lesbian, and my girlfriend signed up for the army reserves suddenly without telling me about it, and now she's gone for a LONG time. I've been with her for over a year, though. So should I stick it out and wait for her to get back, or should I just move on?

if you love her you should wait for her. if you just like her then you should move on. in other words follow your heart it will never lead you wrong

Oh man- that must hurt! Have you asked her what her plans are for her life? And do they include you? It would be so different if this was a decision that the both of you made... But, personally, I would not stay if this was not the life I wanted. Meaning, if I didn't want to be part of the army life, then sadly, I would move on.

Well if she didnt have the decency to tell you what she had done,,,and just left like that,,,it would be up to you to do what you felt was right. I dont know what a long time is,,,but maybe you can just date for now until you and her figure out what you wanna do about this. You and her need to talk before any decisions are made i think. Well, I don't understand why she didn't tell you about it, that's crazy! Girl, I'm sorry to say but I don't believe that it'll work out. Think about it she'll be gone for long periods of time, and she'll be surrounded by other women!!! Come on she didn't care about what you thought and sure didn't care about your feelings! Do what you think is the best choice for yourself. If you still love her and are in contact with her then you need to ask her what's going on. Again though, this is your decision to make!!!!!

move on. who know who she will find out there. talk to her and find out what's up w/ the both of you guys. ask whether the bot of you will remain faithful to one another for the time being or will it just be time to move on. if the both of u can wait it out, thats wonderful. if not, start looking around, get your game face on!
