I wouldn't touch it & call the police to tell them the location. It could belong to a missing person or be implicated in a crime.

Quickly and quietly go home. Over a year, deposit a sum of money every week. Spend a little on LITTLE luxuries, then at the end of the year, have money in the bank, and a good savings record to borrow more against!

You'll never make it across the border with the money - either the police or border guards will confiscate it or the drug gangs will find their missing money and make sure you don't ever leave Mexico (except in a pine box).
