My husband and I are considering adopting a child. We currently have our natural daughter with us who is 15. Anyway, We cant decide which child to start the adoption process with. A 12 year old girl or a 11 year old boy. Which do you think would get along better with our daughter?????

i think not necessary right now. you can get your daughter married after attaining 18 years. then they will give children all will be happy.

Hmmm....If i were you i would ask your daughter, I think a 12 year old girl would get along better. She could ask your daughter for help with things and they could really bond with eachother. Plus boys are kinda shady to begin with...plus if he was in a adoption center he might not be to talkative...I think you should ask your daughter...or have her meet with each kid then choose.

It's great that your adopting a child. Many ppl in the world don't adopt kids because they don't feel its theres.

A 12 year old, its a good choice to adopt any child, why have more kids when there are so many kids that are in a bad situation.

Your daughter is a teenager and I'm not sure she would get along with either of them to be honest. Teens are very self-centered and don't like sharing their time, parents or their space. My suggestion would be to talk it over with your daughter and get her input on it before you decide. Make her feel part of the process from the onset and it will make it much easier.

I can see where this would be a difficult decision and I think it is a wonderful thing you are doing. If it were me I would include your daughter in on the decision. In other words make it a family decision. Good luck to you all.
