I guess it would be a great idea to ask them. As to what you "like" and "dislike" the important thing is that you are being cared for and raised, and it does not sound to me as if you are being "abused" Be infinitely grateful. When you get old enough to get out there on your own, and pay your bills and are an independent self supporting adult member of society, you will be able to call the shots and live the way you so choose As to why you parents may have only had you, it could be any one of a great many reasons. Mom may have had a dangerous pregnancy and didn't want to go through another one that may have endangered her life. She or your dad may have become infertile. Who can say? If it is that important to you to know the r eason, approach your mom and have a good sit-down heart to heart talk with her about it. I don't know how old you are but my bet is you are in your early or middle teens. You have a t this time a heck of a lot more important stuff you should be concentrating on rather than the size of the house you live in. Some day if you get yourself a decent education and a sense of purpose in life, you will be able to get a house of your own.... the exact size that suits you. And then, perhaps, you will be able to make the d ecision about how many children YOU want to have, based on your circumstances. Meanwhile, be thankful that you are not living in one of those parts of the world where kids your age a re living in misery, sickness, poverty and oppression. There are a lot of t hem out there.

Maybe you were too big of a pain, maybe they only wanted you, maybe be happy they wanted you.
