A 1965 Ford Cortina GT was one of my favourite cars. Not only was it our regular car, we did rallying in it too. It was white, with a maroon stripe. Those were the days when you didn't have sponsors and professional drivers.
Joint favourite was our first joint owned car, a 1959/1960 Sunbeam Rapier. It wasn't up to heavy rallying so my husband (boyfriend then) sold it for the above. It was two shades of green, had a front bench seat (great for cuddling), and the windows were pillar less. Oh, I'm all sad now. Big sigh.
My least favourite..... I've banished it from my mind.
Our present car is a Vauxhall Vectra estate. As with all modern cars, it has no character.

I had a new 1973 Lotus Europa "John Player Special". I loved it, and hated it.
Mid-engine, 1400 lbs wet, with 140 HP. Cornered like it was on rails.
But, the highest part of the car was only 3' 4.5" off the ground. Being black (the Player Specials were the only ones made in that color), no one could see you. Near misses nearly every day, even with the headlights on.
Got lots of attention from the highway patrol as well.
Any rain on the roadway and the thing hydroplaned better than "Miss Budweiser".
Still, I'd love to have it back. So I could sell it again. They're worth a ton of money. Only 250 were made, and only 50 of those originally came to the US.
The other problem was you needed to carry a small bat with ya to beat the women off.......................
