My company just post a position and 100% travel, can show up in short notice etc is required. Is there anyone has the same situation or actually doing it?

I was a financial analyst. My job was to leave every Sunday evening for a client site, mostly in the US. I had 1 week to analyze the clients operations and make recommendations on whether our service was of value (hospital surgerical center). I'd fly home Friday afternoon. On Sunday I'd start over with a new client somewhere else. I was fried after a few months. You get very efficient and learn the tricks of travel and eating on the road and all that stuff. I saw a lot of great places. My frequent flyer and hotel miles were incredible. I was lonely as heck and never knew if I was coming or going. Everyone should try it once but almost no one I met liked it.

I travel a few times a month and dislike it for the most part. It's a major disruption in my lifestyle. Once a month would be fine for me. I would never want to be on the road constantly.

Depending on the mode of travel, either SERIOUS JET LAG... NUMB LEGS (ya know when they fall asleep on long road trips???)... or INSOMNIA... or all of them at the same time... THAT would suck.
