Check your local schools, they sometimes run adult courses in things such as dressmaking where you can learn how to make your own patterns and create your own look. Try asking in fabric and sewing shops also. Or you can just take apart an item of clothing similar to the style you want and modify that as a pattern.
Best of luck.

try Draping. you drape your fabric around a dress form and fix or arrange the fabric as the way you like your clothes be. just use pins to hold the fabric in place. once it's done, cut the fabric (with allowances) and sew.

Is this like the "how do you make a Kleenex dance" question?

BTW...you blow a little boogie in it.
