Actually, a better guess is that the insecurity that prompted your question is your problem. Women don't mind a little insecurity once you get to know them usually, but you need to start from a position of liking yourself. You are clearly self-deprecating about your job (nothing wrong with it), and your lack of a car, which is a situation you can at some point remedy with a little confidence and hard work. So quit worrying about those things, and unless you look like the elephant man, you probably have a pretty good chance. If a woman is so shallow that she looks down on you for your job or transportation, she is not up to any rational man's standards, IMO.

No it's not because I have tons of buddies that work at Home Depot and have no vehicle and they have the hottest girls i've ever seen. If a girl really likes you, she'll like you for who you are and not for what you do or don't have.
Hope this was good advice!!

not neccisarily... but im sure that dosnt help out. first of all what women dont like you? if you dont have a car, you probably dont get out much and therefor only see girls at your job, and home depot is not exactly what i have in mind when looking for a love connection... so i put forth to you to go out with your buddies some more, if you dont have a car, get a bike. bikes are totally in these days with all the lace armstrong hooplah... get a little live strong wrist band and get in shape via bike riding. and the most important thing to remember with women is to, even though it sounds ceezy, to be yourself. its no worth to get a girl when she is getting someone else via your lies. so just be yourself, if you like to read, meet a girl at barnes and nobles, if you like to party, meet a girl at a party, you get the picture. anyway, keep your chin up and make sure to appear confident even if you dont feel that way because nothing is more attractive that confidence, or at least the appearance of it...

I can't improve upon Jeremy L.'s answer. Idea, though:
Chat with the mothers that come in to HD. Mention that you are single while you help these ladies get their caulk together.
Good practice and 1 or 2 might have a daughter to send on the next shopping trip.

Don't worry about it another couple of years or two and women will be banging down your door to get at you. Believe me! Women love handy-men. If you can paint, work on cars, fix pipes, or do wiring you would be a shoe in at my house hold.

Most likely James! There are very few women that don't find that a problem sadly! Many like a brand new shiny vehicle! Some say it isn't so, but it sure is. If you find one that that this isn't so, HANG ON TO HER!

Well women are very complex machines. You need to find one to hang out with who is cool so you can ask her what your problem is. And always keep in mind that women like a guy who is comfortable with himself and very honest to them. BE YOURSELF.
