I don't believe in the word "purity". I mean, what is pure? Sex is supposed to happen, it is a natural thing. So in fact, I think sex might be a bit more "pure" than abstinence. BTW, I by NO means think early teen sex is okay. That's too young. I'm talking about consenting adults.

YES! I totally believe in it. Im still a virgin and everbody says Im not and if they don't say that, then they're like I can't believe you hav'nt had sex.I believe in purity because one for God and two for myself.I want to be a virgin for my husband, because I believe that if my husband is my first than it will be more intimate and romantic. Also I know that I won't just be giving it up to some guy that Im going out with in highschool and I know were not going to be together forever.

Yes, I do believe in purity. Having sex before you are in a married, committed relationship is not good for many reasons.
It is more special to save yourself for the one you love!
Do you really want to tell your husband how many lovers you have had, or hear from him how many he's had?
My kids youth pastor shares a story about how having sex "cements" the relationship. Imagine having superglue stuck to your finger and thumb - now try to seperate them. It is difficult and very painful. A great visual analogy of a boy and girl breaking up who have had unmarried sex. (It's difficult enough when marriages breakup)

i think the word "purity" is not a good way of describing virgins. it makes them sound 'perfect'. and it makes nonvirgins seem evil and slutty. none of us are pure, technically. we think sex, we came from sex!
