Personally, I don't see a problem with it, as I have dated outside my race.
What are your views and why do people make this subject a big issue now-a-days?

I don't personally have a problem with it. However, I was told while growing up that if I ever tried it, I would be beaten within an inch of my life. Attitudes seem to be relaxing with the passage of time, though, and I've met many interracial families. It's much more common these days than it used to be.

I am in an interracial relationship (my boyfriend is black) and I see nothing wrong with it. I never have. My dad was somewhat concerned at first, but that's because he was being a moron.
The reason people have a problem with it, is because people are afraid of things they haven't experienced. When I was in jr. high, I thought drinking and smoking were terrible things to do, and that I would NEVER EVER do them. Then I did, and I realized that drinking and smoking have nothing to do with being a bad or good person. I think it the same with people and a lot of issues these days. They haven't done it, and they have been taught that it is wrong, so they stick to that like glue.

I'm fine with it.
If there are problems between the two, these are because of cultural difference and not with "race" per se.
I suppose problems are usually caused by the other people, who have a pretext to interfere with things that are none of their business.

I don't know that it is a big issue, really. I'm from a very conservative area and don't know of any serious problems with it. One woman I know who dated a man of a different race seemed to have family issues with it, but I've never encountered any.

i don't have a problem with it, but a majority of the time, not all the time, people date outside of their race just for show. example: some black men dating white women(a majority of the time it's celebrities), just so they can show people that they've made it to the top. i know it's not just white women hookin' up wit black men, but i just decided to use that as an example. often at times, it is great for a man to get a white women. it's like white women are perfect. that's just me. i gave my opinion. buh-bye now!

well, for someone of no values or respect for there ancestries i guess there is nothing wrong with it,,, but i see it like this, i have many friends of other races than my own, but to have children with one of them is doing me and them and there fore father a terrible wrong, Africans , Chinese, Jewish,,White or what ever the race may be,,,, each should be proud of there heritage and not blend it with other cultures dishonoring there ancestries,,,,and creating confusion for the children,,,, who will be the ones to suffer in society,,, and when someone asks on an application what they are,,,,,what will they say? they don't as of now have I'm a high yellow spot to check,,,,do what you want,,,sounds like you are very confused,,,,, but think about it, don't make excuses because you are want attention,,,you are not the one that will suffer.
