If you know their name and ss#, why do you need help?

Try www.zabasearch.com
Input the first and last name and pick the state you know they lived in last to search. You can add a birth year and it searches 5-10 either way just in case you are off a bit. Once you narrow the list down click on the names themselves to see possible relatatives to help figure out who is who and the zaba site gives addresses and phone numbers.
Do NOT use the ss# to search you may compromise the person's identity and make them subject to ID theft so don't search that. If you suspect they have passed away the goverment SS office has public death records you can securely search using a ss# but that would be the only place I'd ever use a social in a search.
