Actually, although the bulk of Paraguay is further north than the bulk of botswana, the northernmost point of Botswana is further north than the northernmost point of Paraguay.

i.e. Botswana is further north.

Botswana's northernmost point is at latitude 17°46' South

Paraguay's northernmost point is at latitude 19°38' South

They are both located on the Tropic of Capricorn, but Botswana has a little bit more land north of Paraguay

well, they're at the same place, but paraguay has some land that is a little bit farther north than paraguay, but botswana starts lower (south).
