Max might not be feeling well today. Is he an older guinea pig? I'd keep an eye on him to make sure he is eating and drinking normally. Also keep an eye on his breathing and whether he becomes "lazy" and doesn't run around much. It could be a sign of sickness. I hope he's alright!

If you are feeding him on a regular schedule, sometimes they won't squeak, cause they are so sure you will be there. As long as he is otherwise acting normal, I wouldn't worry about it. Skip a meal though, and he'll let you know about it!

Maybe he is sick or maybe just not feeling squeaky today. Go to the pet store or something they usualy have the answers to things like this for no cost at all.

Guinea pigs are prone to respiretory infections and mine died of one. yours needs a vet

You need to take her to the vet. Even actual veternarians online here cannot diagnose it without seeing the patient (not legally anyways).
