Freedoms such as the ability to defend yourself against evidence. The most recent terror bill doesn't only apply to foriegners. If an american is charged with terrorism, then the prosecuting government has the right to decide if you are allowed to defend yourself against the evidence.
The president now has the power of a judge.
The end of Habeas Corpus or at least a gaint loophole.
Many a prosecuetor has been caught trying to pass fake evidence by the defense. This law allows prosecutors around that.

What is being given up? I can make and receive phone calls and say whatever I want. Even if someone is listening in or monitoring They can't use anything against unless I am plotting a terror related attack. If they do use it against me it will only prove they are abusing their power. Irregardless, If i am discussing the commission if a crime I deserve to be hauled in because I am a criminal, therefore I have no rights to begin with.

It's the drugs.
The only difference between Lib and NeoCons is the Drugs &Guns
Libs smoke dope
Con's load up on precription pain killers.
Libs have pot growing in the back yard
Con's have human siloette targets.
The problem comes from sniffing gun cleaner while on prozak and Vicoden

What freedoms am I giving up? Please be specific, and by that I mean hard evidence, not screeching sound bites from Kennedy and company.
That's not telling me anything - that's only you telling me YOUR take on everything.
