Old Navy, Express, Gap, and NY& Company are all good choices. And I almost forgot my favorite, H&M!

Depending on where you live, you may be able to find almost-new, brand-name clothing at consignment and thrift shops. You can get stuff for a steal, and it's more fun because you can't wait to tell your friends, "Hey, I found this brand-new Gap sweater for $5!" Rich people get rid of clothes all the time, people go up and down sizes, so there's a lot of giving away of good stuff.

Not sure where you live, but if you are anywhere near New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, check out H & M. Their stuff is cheap and great. If not, you would be surprised what great things Old Navy has, both for work and casual.

Forever 21 has really cute clothes and same with New York and Company--very age appropriate. Macy's has a few nice work clothes too

ann taylor loft has so many "cool" clothes but they can be kind of expensive. forever 21, and gap are good affordable places as well. also try watching what not to wear on tv- they will show you what is the right type of clothing
